Ink Project are a London-based electronic/alternative/soul duo consisting of vocalist/producer Melanie Dymond and producer/keyboardist Jez Lloyd. Since joining forces they have taken the project live throughout the UK and Europe – showcasing their distinctive sound at the Jazz ReFound Festival in Italy, The Sonar Festival in Barcelona, The Dogstar in Brixton, The Big Chill Bar in Kings X, and Cargo in Shoreditch amongst other venues. First single ‘Call On Me’ was released in June 2010 and after being premiered on Radio 1, has been playlisted by the UK’s leading dubstep DJ’s. The duo’s much anticipated debut album is expected to drop later in the year after preview track ‘Eye Of Glass’ was picked up and played by Giles Peterson on his Radio 1 show in May. There is a very big buzz around this act right now so be sure to keep an eye on them and catch them live!
