For our 5th release, Badmood Recordings welcomes DJ, broadcaster and music collector turned producer, Pier, with his debut single Informer / I Know U Wanna.

Hailing from Slovenia, Pier has long been involved in the bass music scene in the Balcans since 1996 thru his RDYO crew and radio show.

As a Reggae / Dub afficionado, he started ‘Roots in Session’ with his co-selector Fu compiling the mixtape series ‘Kus Kus’ and ‘Shishmish’ featuring collaborations with many local artists on their own original sounds and versions.

From the early days of Drum’n'Bass, Broken Beat and even as a Trombone player, Pier’s path crossed into the Dubstep sounds compiling ‘Dubstepa’ and ‘Meditated Mix’ and is now part of the ‘Krunchit!’ collective, exploring a deeper side of Sub-Bass music.

While side B, I Know you Wanna, is a dancefloor peak time with a clear reference that will take you way back, Informer explores a deeper obsessive rhythm with a more meditative vibe, for those who like dancing in the dark.
