A very known sound engineer and producer from Lisbon who has taken part of many projects and collaborations on the portuguese electronic music scene of the last 10 years, Nsekt is Badmood’s main engineer, responsible for building some of the sound-systems used in the collective’s events and part of a team invited by Red Bull Music Academy with Rita Maia and other 8 portuguese producers/musicians to build a powerful sound-system present at the annual Santos Populares street party in Lisbon having helped develop the sound-system culture with the result of the appearance of many more players at ever growing event.

Also a reference for DNB / Dubstep and all in between in the country, Nsekt is known for his energetic DJ sets that led him to performing with numerous people and curating some of the main events of the type.

As a producer he’s worked with many musicians from world class Fado singer Marisa to collaborating / recording / producing and remixing many Hip-Hop albums of the last 15 years in portugal.

His single The queen was chosen to initiate Badmood recordings activity as the first single of the label, out earlier this year.

Besides many remixes and collaborations, he recently did a remix for Blasted Mechanism Magic Dance.

He’s also the head label and one of the main A&R’s for Badmood Recordings.
